These scales are worth every penny! They are thick, glossy, and the surface treatment is durable. They make amazing pendants and earrings. They might be a little heavy for bigger scalemaille pieces, but they would be perfect for shoulder pauldrons or a bikini top. The gradient is varied from scale to scale so you can sort them to create subtle creeping rainbows or just mix them. The texture is very satisfying to touch and they are smooth on all sides with no sharp edges. We've been pairing them against flat black and they really pop! I'll definitely buy these again.
